I was wondering if there was any way to install the polyurethane control arm bushings without using a press? The one is in two pieces, so that would be easy, but I don't know how to get the other one in.

I just used a vice too. Make sure you push it through the side that has a radius.

Sounds like something Event would do. 2 vice grips and a piece of 1/2 plywood and I think it might be possible if your strong enough.

I used a hammer on one side. Which worked, but didn't seem very elegant. Used a vise on the other side, worked batter.

I have seen that link before and that is exactly what I was trying to find, too bad I just finished doing this. The front end service kit that murrays has was easier than using a vice. It has a nice two-prong superator in it.

Just make sure ladies that once you get the stock rubber bushing pressed out or removed from the arm, that if it left a ring looking thing in the whole, TAKE IT OUT! Its a lip that is from the old rubber bushing and will cut your new ones to pieces.

I used a big press, sucker held like 500lbs of pressure before it gave way.
