Need help fast

Ok, anyone who looks at my profile will tell me i need new suspension. I know this which is why im buying new suspension but my ? is what shocks/struts do i get w/ the TEIN S techs that im buying? i only ask becuase ive heard they are a 1.7 in drop and a 1.5 in the back and ive heard a 1.5 all around. Either way do i go w/ the yellows or the AGX's.

Also rims size.......for the last month ive been debating on what size rims i should buy....17's or 18's. the rims will more than likely be EXEL RS-GT's of something along the lines of the knock offs the illd9 just put on, either way please help. thanks

With a 1.5 drop, you can go either way...Koni yellows are better though (even though AGXs aren't bad either).

17s or 18s...it's really up to whatever you can afford. 18s are harder to maintain as far as getting flats, you will more than likely get a flat on 18s because of the smaller tire than on 17s unless you get really good tires. Also 18s are heavier.

On the...18s looks so damn sweet! If you can afford it, go for it.

The Teins drop more in the front than the back mine was 1.7 front and 1.5 rear. I got the yellows and wouldn't recomend the agx as the drop on the front will void the warentee. As fro the rims You best not go gettng those Excel rs-gts as Thew will implode if you put them on your car. ( stupid people look at my reg. )

That's the part I forgot to mention. 1.5 or lower isn't suggest for the AGX. I have the sportlines on AGXs and I know that soon I'll need to replace them with Konis...that's what I get for rushing for a suspension setup.

I'm just picking on ya those rims are hot. i should know I have them in 18in and i get Comments all the time. there are similar rims but the way 5 star is made is not the same as the RS GT. I totally messed up on how I wanted to say it but hwy it was damb near 3 am. I would also suggest the strut tower bars front and rear while your doing suspension work.

yeah suspension is what im working on mainly now. i really wanted the exel R-1's in gunmetal and 17" but i cant find them anywhere and the RS-GT's were my 2nd choise. I have decided on going w/ 17" though...do you think the rs-gts would look too small in 17's

Honestly it all depends on your drop. people tell me the rims look smaller in the rear than the front. but i bought mine used I had no choice but if i did i would go 17 because the ride would be a little smother and my female wouldnt complain about the car over bumps

True... Bigger Rims = Less Tire = Less ride comfort = Complaining Passengers
