I purchased a full drift kit. It is in the process of getting painted. I want to order a set of springs to get rid of the unsightly wheel gap. I'm at stock height right now. How low can I safely go with the drift kit?
2001 Cavalier Coupe Base
depends, can you drive good? when i had coils i had them raised all the way and i could barely get my foot under the front bumper. also you should look into new struts. if your stock ones blow, one bounce and your gonna crack your kit.
How low have you other drifters gone???
wait longer than 4 hours. i already told you. at stock height its gonna be low. if you lower it, its gonna be hard to drive. if you dont know how to drive a lowered car, then dont lower it because i can bet your kit will be cracked in a week
Go this low. Just cut 3 springs off like I did. Rides great. You can fit under 18 wheelers. I got so many looks.
Go this low. No lower, and you will be good.
get the pro kit and AGX. 1.4 inch drop all around
Im a Xbox 360 fanboy...and damn proud of it!!

92-93 accord bumper lights.

How did you mount them? Did you use Honda's mounting bracket or make one of your own or other?
how low you can go definately depends on the roads, driveways and parking lots in your area. around here, driveways and parking lots tend to have steep entrances unfortunately
if I'm not careful I can scrape all sorts of things with my stock bumper at my height
I'd probably go with the pro-kit and agx's suggested if I were you
thx david

Glued that bracket onto the light. Made a hole in the reinforcement, put a nut and bolt into it and had to grind a slot out of the reinforcement to fit the light into.

Not really a double post LOL.
Thanks. Those look really nice. Now I know what kind of lights look good on this kit.
i got koni yellows w/ GC coilovers and riding 19's Axis Hagens and i got a full drift kit and i ride great................... smooth and the only thing i worry about is speed bumps.
Ya it definately all depends on the roads where u live.. i know i personally wouldnt think of 1.8 or lower in tampa :\ soo many speedbumps and very poorly maintained, bumpy roads with random chunks missing.. i'd have to agree with the prokit/agx combo
