tired of the wheel hop and read that control arm bushings help to get rid of it, just wondering how hard they are to replace?
well it took me close to 2 hrs(including alignment). Getting the old bushing out and pressing the new ones in..isn't much of the problem. It's refitting the control arms back with the stiff bushings. There isn't really any hidden tricks, just a matter of figureing it out. But one thing i did that saved time was to torch out the old bushing, and 2 ppl to refit the new assembled control arms does wonders.
But yah i noticed a huge difference with the control arm bushings and both engine mounts..you won't be disappointed
It can be a PITA if you don't have a press to get them out. Which I didn't so I improvised and drilled and cut out the big ones. I made a puller out of a long threaded rod, a few washers, nuts and sockets to get the littler ones out. Took me about 4 hours.
