Ok at low speeds everything is cool but up above 40mph it starts and is increasingly worse the further above 40 i get
When i step on the gas car jerks to the right, when i take my foot off car goes back to the left
Problem started when i went to 17 inch wheels, im thinking they are out of balance, because i got the car realigned after the rims were put on and it didnt help, also when i switched the rears to the front it became even worse, the rims sat for almost 2 years before going on my car
What is going on here other than maybe wheels being out of balance

You need a major alignment son. My car would pull to the right when i hit the gas and then pull to the left when i hit the brakes, but also could need them tires/rims balanced.

possible bad tie rods pulling the car?
gets inspected soon and im going to have the wheels balanced, so hopefully its just a wheel problem

off balance tire will cause a vibration , not a steering pull
if the tires are seperating that would cause a pull
what would cause a tire seperation

if it turns out to not be the suspension.....torque steer?
^^^^had the charger before tires...wouldnt be that
my friend had a gti that he bent the tie rods...same thing happened to him...might want to check that out
Could be a bent wheel as well maybe?
before the rims went on I did have lower control arm bushings put on.....maybe that is it something in the tie rods got messed up then?

That was my issue, bent wheel, and it was off balance, problem is finding a new one
Sticky brake pad? My buddy had that on his RV... front left brake pad had seized... it pulled hard to the left on acceleration, hard to the right on braking.

I couldn't imagine new Wilwoods would have a problem. Oh yeah who installed those?
Prob a dumb question here, but you did have Hub Centric rings installed with your aftermarket wheels, didn't you? Just making sure...........
SOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!
no dont have hub centric rings, the wheels do move when the car is jacked up and have a slight sqeek when i grab the wheel, maybe a wheel bearing?

dude get the rings 15$ from tire rack or discount tire direct.
seriously, no BS. thats something you SHOULD have.
^^^ I will second that, those rings do make a difference.
working on getting the hub centric rings, i still need wheel bearings too, hopefully those 2 fix it , passed inspection today not sure how

Ok I'll admit I'm retarded...
But what are hub centric rings?
"Fu'k displacement, I'd rather be blown."
Stock wheels are designed for are car, so the hub is drilled out to fit our hubs. Aftermarket wheels are designed for a wide range of cars so the hub is drilled out more than ours. You get these composite plastic or alum rings to adapt them for our car. It makes sure the wheels are centered and even when mounted to the car.
^^^^so would that cause the vibration i'm feeling at like 65+. i ordered mine from wheelmax.com, and i didin't get any hub centric rings with the wheels
Yes. I would cause vibration (as if the wheel was off ballance) without them.
Hmm. I had the same issue once. Went to change the clutch out on my old car, and when I had the car jacked up to take off the wheel, the driver side A-arm would move left and right. Turns out the front bolt on the A arm was sheered off.
O noes!
well the problem has seem to be resolved thanks to the help of Event and Donovan this weekend, turns out there was a bolt loose on each side of my a arms and i replaced both front wheel bearings. Problem is basically gone now, just need to find another fuseable link errr......but thats another story
