Well Ive read all the comparisons for the D specs and the konis but all these reviews are missing an important element in which I am interested: how are these shocks performance wise? Is the handling improved alot?
They are amazingly easy to adjust, install, and over performance I give 5/5 stars for improved handling. I do highly recommend strut tower bars front and back for turning, it improves the D-spec response around the corners. My favorite thing about them so far is it takes me about 5 minutes to adjust from launching to cornering.
really? that sounds fairly impressive. What springs/coilovers did you go with or did you buy the kit?
I bought the shock/spring kit
If you're interested in handling, you want either D-Spec or Koni with Pro-Kit (or something comparable height/rate - ie. H&R, B&G etc)
What Dave said D-Spec and Koni yellows are both awesome starts for a suspension setup.

Yeah, I love my D-Specs. I got the full kit that included the springs. I believe the drop rate on the Tokico springs is 1.6"
