Still can't find where you said it......
He didn't. He said he had new suspension, not what he was going to do with it.
What is bad on the old suspension? Mounts don't always go bad. The original springs are probably good to. Why are you replacing them? We need to know what you are doing, or why. The struts, we assume the original are worn, and that's why you're replacing them.

I thought you would assume that if I have new struts and springs that are going on my cav that you would know that Im putting a new suspension on the car.
Nothing is bad with the old springs I just thought I would replace them while Im doing the struts. The mounts are still good. So I think the only thing I need will be the spring seats.
Hey, people do crazy @!#$ around here. Can't assume.
Sounds like you've got everything. Spring seats aren't a bad idea at all.
If you really want to redo everything, put new bushings on the control arm. They have a tendancy to seperate after ~100Kmi. Not too dangerous or anything, but it's just a little bit more slop in the suspension.
Will I run into problems without bump stops and spring seats. I couldnt find a parts store that carrys them and the dealer will have to order them. Ive got the spring compressed on the strut just need to know if it would be ok to have it on the car without the bump stops and spring seats.
bump stops don't go bad unless you abuse them. I assume you haven't been slamming your car much. Old spring seats will most likely work just fine. But it's a "don't get cheap on me now" issue. Might as well replace anything that wears out now while you have it all apart.
