i dont have 300 + to drop on an eibach pro kit. i was wondering if these adjustable "hi-low" coilovers are actually any good. my buddy derek has them on his cav. said they only cost him about 100 bucks and they work well.. its a plus cause they're adjustable. but i was just wondering if they are of any quality or what. thanks.
Coiloverness
read the faq at the top and by all means stay away from those.
happy happy joy joy
garbage. They will lower your car but you will not be happy with them at the end
All the coilovers I've seen will beat the crap out of you on a bad road.
Semper Fi SAINT. May you rest in peace.
i bought some from ebay and put them on my car and it bottomed out over small bumps. when i would corner hard it would also bottom out. very bad experience dont buy them. I would go with the sportline springs from karo at car customs. thats what i have and there great
I understand you don't have much money but going the cheap route will result in you repeating in money to have them installed and repeating money on another spring setup.
Make sure you invest in some AGX or Koni Yellows...do not install them on your stock struts & shocks.

Then you shouldnt be considering lowering your car. Not only do you want quality springs, you want quality struts as well.

What he said. Not only will you need $300 for the Eibach pro kit, you will need more than $300 for a new set of Koni (or other) struts. $800 for the whole thing once you are done.

35$ for coilovers.....did you even really have to ask?
also prokit springs can be found in the classifieds for around 100$...
around low 200$ at most places brand new.
Just to give you an example of how cheap these ebay coilovers are, I used a top hat piece from a set of coilovers accidently purchased from ebay. After approx two weeks the top hat piece sunk right in splitting it into two piece from the middle. Cheap ass metal is used. So stay away from them if you know what's good for you.
