anyone quickly know how big the agx nut is? metric, imperial? im going to go buy a flex gear wrench and attempt to put that damn washer in today without air tools. Without something like this theres no way i see keeping the shaft from moving.
flex to fit down in the strut mount cup, ratchet gear for easy removal, and open unlike a normal ratched so i can take a wrench and hold the shaft up top

now that i look at it the cup looks to small to even get something with a flexible neck to get in there... how the heck am i supposed to do this without airtools! once i get this washer/spacer on there tho the nuts going to sit flush with the cup

You should be able to get the nut on with just a rachet. I use a piece of rubber and pliars on the shaft and use a ratchet
trying to keep the car on the ground... only want that one nut to come off for all of 5 seconds... i just cant get any torque on the damn wrench with it at an angle

You can use a socket wrench and a small hammer to "simulate" the impact wrench. I've had to do it in the past, it takes forever.
Otherwise just use the open end of the wrenchs.
lol i wonder how much tq that is, and it sure isnt as fast... i might have to give that a shot real quick tho... be back in like 5 mins to say how it goes lol

That totally worked... now all im gona do is go to shwab and make sure i have them torqued properly. Whats the right torque for the strut to mount bolt? 60? 100? 160?
by the way, the washer stopped my clunk i think, but i also think the part thats creaking is either the mount or something else, did it before the struts....

well i got it on... i guess it helped. Who knows. All kinds of noises still tho. Some came before my suspension tho... Im thinkin its just bad strut mounts.

A creaking noise is almost certaily the mount(s). They also produce a "thud" noise sometimes.
