Just a note... I have the same RSM bar as NJs Honda Killa.... it fits with the stock air filter box without a problem.

I've seen under your hood and there is really no difference. The only issue our cars run into is avoiding the PCM, which it does avoid. The PCM on the 2002s are in the same area, so you should have no problems.

Just for re-insurance, I went to RSMs website and it's listed for 2002+ ECOTECs...so which means no difference.

Well I have both the front and rear Z spec bars and they fit fine, however i have a 98 z. The front bar is alot different than the ones above. It is flat hugs the top of the firewall. I wish I could get pictures for you but I'm in Iraq and my camera doesnt zoom that far. sorry

Strut bars for the 2.4 motors and ECOTEC are different because our engine bays are setup differently. That's why you can't fit one on made for a 2.4 bay on without modifications (if that).

Got the spec Z's on, they ar bad ass, but also require alot of grinding to use computer, and cruise control bracket. i got good pictures with my phone, and will have them up in a little bit. another thing i recommend is to replace all the strut tower bolts with ones about a 1/4 inch longer, i will get these pics when my Koni Yellows come in. i am ordering them tomorrow =-) and will have pics when the brackets are painted and reinstalled.

Glad you got your item.
Seems RSM is on the ball with shipping goods.

Still would like pics.
From their sight, the bar seems kinda odd looking.

The lower dogbong is sweet even if I'd never get one.
