New suspension

I'm with the other kid that got a cheap set of coilovers and clunk and ride like @!#$ too. I'm willing to get some decent stuff, but i have a drift kit, so its damn low to the ground. I think i only dropped like 1 inch with the coilovers and it was fine. What combo could i get that wouldn't drop me too far and ride nice?

1. Cheap setup
Tien H-tech springs(1.1" drop) with KYB AGX shocks

2. More expensive setup
Quality coilovers with koni's or other properly matched strut.
Examples would be Koni's and Ground Control coilovers, Tien Basics, Pro-streets, Gravana's coilovers, etc.

That would be an excellent choice.

The best deal can be had on Gravana's website. Its $599 plus shipping ($661.37 in my case for CA to FL).

Koni sport kit...yum

The ride can go from nice and firm to solid as a rock, and it doesn't take much at all to make that adjustment.

they claim 1.8" drop, which is about right, maybe closer to 2" if you have any extra weight in the car. Definitely grab new strut mounts, especially rears (that way you can practice modifying the old ones without screwing up new ones). If you do go with konis, there's a nice how to here on the .org:

You might want to read that before you buy anything, but that install really isn't that bad.

Sleeper style, they don't see it coming that way.
