my "new" old 91 Cav has 110K on it, just bought it and replaced LH axle hub/bearing..that took care of most of the noise, but now notice on RH turns and some rough roads that it sounds like someone hits the floorboard under my feet with a hammer-not all the time , but occasionally-the hardest "thump" happens on the RH turn.
where should I start to fix this? What do I look for?

I'm having that problem with my 03 on the passenger side. It may be an unsaddled spring. Ive posed that question to the guys on the org. Check right below this post.

It could be one of several things.
Upper strut mount
Strut to spindle bolt
Subframe to unibody bolt
Start with those and let us know.
