Just wondering which of the 3 you guys would recommend. At this point I am just going with the lowering springs. Tein S-tech, Skunk2, or Eibach.
Eibachs are almost as good as the Tein S-Techs in my opion. Tein is the best suspension manufacturer ever.
I was a retard, and now I'm permanently banned.
I'd go the other way:
Tein S-Techs are almost as good as Eibachs. I wouldn't claim anything as "best".
Skunks are a bit firm for out cars.
and I'd say Tein and Eibach are equal in quality
Teins are popular in Asia
Eibachs are popular in Europe.
Both are excellent from what I read and hear. I would lean towards to Tein, just because I am biased.

i love my eibachs too
this is my sig
skunk2 only makes coils for j's (well so they say their for a j)
I love my Tein Coilovers, and i have the koni yellows and eibach sportlines before, and i really do feel like the Teins ride a bit stiffer.
They ride stiffer because their spring rate is much higher.
Anyways, I just say get whatever is cheapest between the eibachs and teins. Most likely the teins will be. The price and ride height are going to be the only differences in the two.
Want a set of Koni yellows? We have a couple sets left for a very low price.

other than -esb- anybody else have pics of their car sitting on s-techs
sorry for the thread jack but it might help you so..
'waiting for financial aid check to buy the above' haha
As long as the site says the $479.99 price you will get it for that. Once the price higher, you know someone else got to them first.

From having only experience on my setup, I'm not going to even try to say its better or worse than another, but my Eibachs and D-Specs ride really well.
For springs, any of those would be good. Not as many people run Skunk2 so there's your "unique" option. A lot of people run Eibach for good reason. Tein is nice, yet I have found much better Japanese supensions for my 240. Springs are nice from them, however.
I'll have a sig someday....................
i chose to take the unique option and run KYB AGXs with the Skunk2 springs. the drop is 1.4F and 1.6R, which voids the warranty on the dampers. However, i have not had one problem with any part of this setup. the AGXs are usually set to 3F and 5R, which is a little stiff, but the idea is grip, right? i called skunk2, and after some persistance they told me the springs are progressive. this was a large factor in my spring decision, as i live in Lincoln, NE where only some of the roads are smooth as glass. I would recommend this setup beyond any other. handling is amazing but i am too much of a nancy to push the envelope too far. a very well spend $500... but take this with a grain of salt as this is my first suspension past stock and i have only been on it for 2 months.
i did a search and could not find anyone else on the Skunk2 lowering springs. (could it be operator error?) anybody else out there with these springs? a more educated opinion would be greatly appretiated.
ZZZZZZZ
i love my eibachs and koni's. its a good ride.
SIG coming to an org near you!!!
I have Eibach Pro kit springs and AGX's, they ride real nice, especially at 3 and 6, lil firm but the ride is nice.

.1 isn't really going to make that much of a difference... I'm willing to wager that KYB wouldn't even be able to tell...
Now if you were to run Sportlines....
So many people totally miss the point of putting limits on what is reasonable.
KYBs are warrantied to a certain point because that is where they will hold up to. How much does it cost you to send them in for repair? How much time are you losing?
They probably will not care about 0.1", but the skunks are too high a spring rate and you'll blow them prematurely.
You're really inconveniencing yourself a lot by cheaping out in the first place.
