How do you remove the inner tie rod from the outter? i tried to put a wrench on the inner and outter and try to loosen it. but the wrench closes to the inner tie rod keeps spinning. am i turning the outter nut the wrong way? im i suppose to turn it in the loosing way?


Also i had my whole front suspension out and when i went to put the nut on the steering knuckly it turned a couple times now the ball joint keeps spinning and wont tighten any more. is that a bad ball joint?

also the tie rod does the same thing does that mean i need to replace the tie rod end too?

The ball joint: put a jack under the ball joint and put some pressure on it. You can tighten the nut up that way.

The Tie rod: You're trying to take the end off the rod?

have one guy use a pry bar and put pressure on it and you tighten it to spec
