Hey guys,
I was poking around in my garage and I found my old strut bar off my 96 cavalier. I threw it on my 03 and it fit like a charm, it handles really well. The only problem I have is the hood. It closes fine, w/o resistance, but I notice a SLIGHT gap from fender to hood. Its not really noticable unless ur looking for it...
Should there be PREFECT hood clearence, or not?
Thanks,
Chris Osborn
PS_ If i were to put it on upside down, there are some things that are to get in the way- that is not possible.
What gets in the way of putting it up-side-down? The computer or the cruise? Bend them out of the way.
Next time use the search button too please.
what brand is it? my ractive strut bar doesn't stop the hood from closing but it's enough of a push on the hood to make that same gap. for me it's due to the fact that the ractive strut bars are universal bars.

Yea, I believe it is Ractive... It won't fit on upside down either cause of the brackets...
Oh well...
