Front sway bar install
Wednesday, November 23, 2005 11:47 PM
i'm trying to get the an eibach front sway bar on a 98. The manual says take 4 bolts out of the cross member to lower it, I did that and it will not lower, are there any other bolts? Or does anyone have any good advice on how to string the sway bar through to bolt it up?

There are two more bolts - one up in each wheel well.

Sounds like a fun project. Yeah like tommy said, there are four on the bottom of the subframe (two on each side) and then there are two up i nthe wheel wells. If you have air tools use them!

May also need to take the lower engine mount loose on the passenger side, and the frame-to-radiator-support loose on the drivers side.
