yesterday evening i opened my glovebox and the piece that keeps it closed broke off inside, and has fallen down inside the glovebox door. how can i take the glovebox door off so i can get the piece from inside and fix it?

There are like 6 screws on the hinge on the bottom of the door. If you hold the door closed, and look where the hinge is on the bottom of the dash, you'll see the screws. From there you take the screws out that are on the inside of the door, this will allow you to separate the two halves, and replace just the latch part.
