K, timing chain went and am swapping in another engine, the question is what years engine can i use with out swapping wiring, computers etc? safe to assume 96-98 2.2's are the same? Have looked for a good resource for this sort of thing and have yet to find anything worth looking at.
95-97 is same...98+ is the 2200, similar...but not a boltup switch. Find a 95-97 2.2 and you're in good shape
Albeit a 95 might not switch right in since they are OBD I, you might have to adapt a few pieces to make way for sensors that are new to the 96...I'm not positive on that, thats more of an OBD II vs OBD I issue
