What is the cheapest preformance modification that you can do to a 2.2L and give it a noticable amount of horsepower?
nitrous will give you the biggest gain for your dollar, but power is not cheap. We all wish it was!
New sig in the works
header or motor mounts probably...
im dumb but how do motor mounts help i always wondered that?
motor mounts; the mounts that are stock have a little play in them because they are made of a soft rubber compound. new aftermarket ones will have either a stiffrer more riddged compound or a strait piece of metal in stead of soft rubber, depending if you buy a upper or lower bracket. the harder compound or the metal bracket will put more torque to your tires than in motor sway, just to warn you the upper mounts make your dash SHAKE like crazy, when in idle.
" K bye!! "
I've seen nitrous up to $6 per Lb. aparently in some area's it dips to $4. in the long run, it's most likely cheaper to go with a turbo, but that is a very long run.
CAR GODS MADE THE 1.6 SOHC TO MAKE US 2.2 OHV GUYS FEEL BETTER.
