ok well i have a 05 cavi built 05/04 and my friend (john H) has an 04 cavi built in 04/04 and are engines are both ecotecs but the engines are different? anyone know why or anything? thanks

Both engine (aka Ecotecs) are the same. Built by the same type of parts and specs.
whats different about them if you have then side be side you should be abl;e to tell yours probley has a cover over the engine thats all
