Actually I spent about 600$ Canadian and my car ran a consistent 17.6 when it was stock. Of course...my tires are bald right now..If I had slightly better rubber my 60' wouldn't suck so much. I'll rarely break-out of a 2.4 second 60'. Don't forget that this is on an auto...a 2.2 manual can be about a second faster than that (a friend in a 2.2 Manual hit 16.5 that same day with a CAI and catback exhaust).

yeah, 2200 are slow stock but give it a little bit of time and money and you'll right next to evil adler(which isnt to bad)
ill let you know mine in 2 weeks when i get to the track
18.139 @ 75 mph. That was running a cone filter, upper engine mount, Fuzion ZRi tires.
17.3 with injen CAI and custom 2.5 inch exhaust with down pipe
Why have 2 people so far considered an engine mount an a major mod? An engine mount wouldn't add power... what would it do?
1983 Camaro Z28
just keeps the engine from losing power
97 2.2 3 spd......18.2@75 mph....short ram intake, lower mount......but Cannon was still slower......just playin buddy (if you see this....if not, then
)
That is correct. Put one one your car and you will see. the car shakes more at an idle since the power has to go somewhere. The mount eliminates engine roll which puts more torque where it is supposed to be. i wouldnt be able to take my engine mount out and still drive it. i consider it a major modification.
^agreed,but i hope to go anyway before the track closes
short ram intake and muffler and a freshly serviced throttle body.
I ran a 17.01 at 80 mph I know it was a 17.01 but not sure on the MPH that was a guess dont have the slip.
