Well I got a couple of questions. First of all my Sunfire (2001 SE 2.2L) has made a weird noise since I got it a year ago. When you let the clutch out in first gear and it makes a noise like metal vibrating, and then when you let off the gas or shift to second gear it also makes this sound too, almost like there is some metal wrapped around a driveshaft and it is scrapping on some plastic, when I push in the clutch pedal it stops. Any ideas? The other problem is when I turn my stearing wheel it makes a rubbing noise and it gets to a point where it makes a clunking noise and I can feel it through the steering wheel, any ideas on this?
Clutch Alignment And CV Joints Possibly?

I would say something to do with a throwout bearing, and your strut mounts.

i have the SAME prob mines a 2000 with the 2200 that noide is a pain in the ass
so you guys dont know what it is forsure?
as for the tranny problem, take it to GM. There is a bulletin for that, they replace your tranny fluid with Saturn tranny fluid. As for the other noise, sounds like strut mounts to me, but it is hard to diag noises over the internet.
