I've been thinking of putting one of this on my car, as some of you know our 99 Z24 doesn't come with a trunk release and it annoys me sometimes I have to go out & open it. So i went to wreckers today and took one out of sedan cav.
So, what i need is if can anybody provide me a detailed instructions how to install this in my car. ( I checked out my haynes manual but didn't get any. )
If possible some pics should be helpful too.

this isnt a joke is it?
since you did take the one out at the wreckers shouldnt you know how to reinstall it?
tell me your not talking about a cable operated one.
if it is you hook the cable at both ends and pull the handle.
The electric one should just need one wire ran back to the release to power it from a push button.

If you have the electronic trunk release on your key fob, than just do what Joe stated. Run a wire from the solinoid in the trunk to a momentary switch in the car and the other terminal of the switch to +12v. You now have trunk release in the car. Simple and will look better than a manual trunk release with a cable.
