hey all, just wondering, what is the best mod you have done to your third gen. in terms of the fun to drive factor?
i would have to say rear sway bar, lowered, sub frame brace, and front and rear strut tower bars... its amazing the difference that it can make if you do your homework. doesnt even feel like a jbody anymore...
I agree with Shifted Turbo it will shock the H?"> out of people when you fly past the V6 and the V8

My hood. I can feel extra weight with the stock back on. I'm just that much happier every time I see my car. I drove with a stock hood on back a few winters and I felt so blah about driving it that way.

Seriously though, suspension mods make the car so much fun to drive. Lowered, front sway bar, front strut bar & rear strut bar so far.
They all made it a lot more fun to drive, I couldn't decide.
Suspension! on ramps are now fun in my base model
painted radiator cover red...added like 25 hp!!!!
definately suspension! going around 90 degree turns at 40 mph is the most fun thing you can do...haha
turbo if you can afford it, on a small budget I would agree with the short throw shifter.
The suspension parts ive added......taking turns fast is a hell of a lot more fun then going in a straight line fast.

everyone else is listing performance stuff but i love having a loud and nice sounding stereo in any car or even my home.
