my sister has an 00 sunfire, and her DRL's have been acting up lately, i was wondering if this was a common thing w/ 3rd gen j's, or is someone could offer an opinion or some advice. sometimes, when she starts the car up, they work fine, but other times, she will start the car, and they will blink and then go out, at which time the Service Engine Soon light comes on, and other times they dont work at all, illuminating the SES light. i cant seem to get it to act up while i have it at work to pull up the code, im just kinda looking for a starting point if any of you have had similar problems. thanks guys

My friend had a similar problem with his. The wires are for the headlights are crap. The plug on the right hand side of the motor was corroded and the wires going from the lights to the main harness corrod as well. We ripped them all out and soldered in new wires.
