Hi ya'll My gf blew her head 95 cavalier's head gasket, and she had about 180k mile on the engine. Does anyone know which motors are a direct replacement. like: will a 96 fit? a 94? a 97 ect...Thanks a million for the help. As soon as I replace the engine I'm ditching the gf.

I'm a bitch. Look out. I'm here to start drama.
Please take everything I say seriously.
LOL, why replace the engine if you're ditching her?
where she from? if you dont want her, ill take her
Im a Xbox 360 fanboy...and damn proud of it!!
Piece of crap eh? it lasted 180K. I hope all my vehicles are pieces of crap that only need a head gasket as 180K. And why replace a motor instead of just taking a few hours to replace the gasket?
-1995 Cavalier for dirt racing-
-1995 Sunfire for parts-
-1998 Dodge Durango for getting to the track-
-1997 Dodge Avenger for playing-
Hehe, kidding about the gf.....I never kid about my Dakota 4.7 4x4...hehe, now please give me some slack and info
Seriously. You could do it in a weekend...I did it on my car...

hell, if its the ohv, you can do it in under two hours, if you had never seen the engine before.

Pick up a Haynes/Chiltons manual and a head-up gasket kit. All of it shouldn't cost more that $80 including tax. Even taking your time it shouldn't take more than 3-4 hours.
I think the biggest problem here is he neglected to tell us which engine his gf has
This thread is useless without pics of the g/f.
how many miles are on her? if fairly reasonible i will take over after you get rid of her.
How about I swap the head gasket and she gives me in return a head job?
