I am looking for the GM shop manual for a 2002 cavalier. I searched Ebay and couldn't find one, does anyone else know where I can pick one up at? I think its three big books that describe how to do anything and everything.
You can get it from
www.helminc.com. They are the official literature distributor for GM.
I should be trying to sell you one from the manual / literature shop where I work (and am typing this. Our web pages is
www.kenmcgeeautobooks.com), but I'm in Canada so the shipping and exchange would be lousy. You'd be further ahead buying it direct from Helm.

You can try and find them on Ebay.... I bought my first set (2000 J-car manuals) for $50... still have 'em
they're indispensable at times... I also managed to find the GM Service DVD on Ebay a while back... mint find, it's got all the service info for ALL GM vehicles from 98 thru 05... with some basic info on the 97's too.. fully searchable.. all on one DVD
since your company has an ebay store, why not throw them on ebay for me for a nice price lol

The answer is simple. Helm is our supplier, and anything we put on eBay would have to compete with them even after accounting for an extra leg in shipping. I'm supposed to sell them at $175 CDN + shipping, and Helm sells them at $135 USD + shipping. The only way I could get enough leeway on the price to make it worthwhile for you is if I had a used set -- then I could make a judgement call on how "rough" the condition is and adjust the price accordingly. Since I only have new sets, you're SOL.
Now if you had a '97, I've got a rough set that I could let go for $50. Too bad.
