ok i got a sunfire i got for parts its got a blown 2.2L in it and its a 2 door the body is still really good condition im thinking about doing something with this but everythings already been done like a v6 swap i even heard of a v8 swap i was thinking about puting a rotory engine in it i got a 87 rx-7 just sitting in my yard and i was thinking about throwing in the 13B but i dont know how i would go about with the transmission because it is rearwheel drive but i dont know about that still lol anyone got any suggestions?

You have to have all of the resources and cash available to put an engine in that didnt come in there. Also you have to be realistic in the goal of the swap. Putting a v-8 in will be a heck of alot of work for that small engine bay( frame rail cutting and notching), unless you make it RWD then thats a whole other can O worms. Mazda In a GM, I wouldnt try it. You r going to be challenging the ability to mesh manufacturers components together resulting in a huge mess. If your going to swap, either go to an echo or a v-6(60 or 90 degreee blocks) , those have been done and there is help on issues that come up. And more importantly Is realistic.
If It hasnt been done, there is a reason or countless reasons that it hasnt been done.
You have to remember that You have a J-body.
