engine vibration

i have a 95 2.3L Cavy with 114K. I bought this car from the original owner about a year ago. An older gentleman and the car has never been beaten on or neglected by him nor I. Just today for the first time i reved my engine up to about 3500 range just cuz, but anyway i notice a vibration in the engine. I thought it was just because i was in park, but it also did it in neutral and while rolling and did the same thing. Reminder that my car is 100% stock. Absolutely no modifications. (yet) So i was wondering if maybe the bearings are going out on the engine or could it be something else? Which ever it may be, how serious is it and how long will it be before the engine needs to be rebuilt?

Rev limiter?
Does it do it in drive?

There is some sorta like idle rev limiter I think. I know when I was reving up my sunfire after I put the cherry bomb on it would go up to about 3500-4000 and there would be a limiter.

its not the rev limiter, cuz that hits a 4K. But reving it up to that point the engine seems to have a slight vibration to it. i doesn't seem to do it when in drive, but only in park or neutral. i thought maybe it was the motor mounts, but i looked over them and they appear to be in good shape. I guess i dont really care that much, i was just wondering what it could be. If if blows up, then i just have a reason to rebuild it for boost.
