my fan went out in my 96 z24 i kept drivin it....i had to replace the fan the coilpack boots they melted now i cant get it started and gas s coming out my muffler any idea plz help[
Have you pulled your plugs? sounds like you fried them too and your turning the engine over and just spitting the gas out the back end.
so do u think i fried the coil packs ....i replaced the fan the boot to coils and the thermostat housin
My fan hasn't been working since last year probably, when it goes up over half way on the temp gauges I turn the heat on max. Alway goes back down...

yeah but now i cant get the car started so did i blow my engine... or do i need some new coil packs?

Bad fuel injector o-rings.
any other idea? if it dont work should i just switch to the quad ho engine?how hard would it be to put that engine in and go to odb1?????????
I'm going to be honest with you. It sounds like you know absolutely nothing about engines.
You have no idea what is wrong with your current one but you want to know how hard it would be to throw in an older engine into your car. If you have to ask, it's too hard for you. And 9 question marks is a little much, one should work.
Check the freaking spark plugs, replace them. See if it starts. You need fuel, spark, and air to make boom. Check them.

dude i checked all that....i know nothing about engines im getting a 1800 dollars check from the irs and want the quad 4 which ever engine has 180-190 hp even if the 2.4 worked it wouldnt make a @!#$ cause im throwing in the 180-190 hp engine just answer the @!#$ question dont be a dick u little bitch
You would have to swap the transmission and re-wire your car. Not an easy route. OR, buy an ecotec with transmission and stick that in + supercharger. Much better then an almost 20 year old engine that had poor reliability as is.
That check would go a long way toward paying someone else to do it. Who knows, they might even give you a deal if you curse them out too.
