engine/motor (newbie question, I think)

I have a 98 cav 5 manual with 174k miles on it. I plan on driving this thing until the wheels fall off.
I was wondering where would be the best place to get an engine/motor for this car. I am planning for the future, never know when this thing might die but from reading on here it could be a while to come. If there a engine/motor that is more fuel efficient I am more interested in that. I currently get around 32-33mpg hwy.

I replaced the trans about a year ago around 150k mi. along with the clutch kit and fly wheel. Five years of delivering pizza in that car killed the trans I guess. Now I just drive about 75mi round trip for work each day so I want to make sure I never get stranded.

I live in Columbus Ga. I have seen that site before, I do not think I would put something from the junk yard in there, I do not mind minor things but engine/motor/trans I would just rather put in brand new.

If I were to get one from a junk yard, do you know what all engines/motors would fit a 98 cav 2.2? I am referring to a year range, I am also guessing cav and sunfire.

(2.2L) carpart.com shows up to 2002 but your going to have to swap over your intake since yours is an egr motor. I think any 2.2 non echo will swap for you. Your just basically using the long block, (head, block and internals) thats all your going to get with a reman engine if you decide to go reman anyway.
cav and sunfire are the same, I think the truck motor is different but dont hold me to that.
