can anybody tell me where to find the vss on a 2000 cavalier w/3spd ? my speedo/odo hasn't worked for way too long, and the codes show low signal from this sensor. I know it is on the trans, but where ?
Should be on the passenger side of the transmission case, by the right axle. Has two wires to it - one purple, one yellow.
didn't 00+ have 4 speeds?
4 speed was still only an option.

If i'm not mistaken the Z24 only came with the 4spd auto or 5spd manual
