gotta 2000 with a 2200. gas gauge quit a month or so ago, fuel pump quit last week. dropped the tank and wired the pump straight and it works. checked all the relays and fuses I can find none of them will run the pump off the cars wiring. any help will be greatly appreciated

it is in the under hood fuse block, it will say fuel pump. Im pretty sure its the large grey wire coming out of the tank that powers the pump, that wire goes directly to the relay, to pin 30 or 87 of the relay.
it is possible that when you took the pump out you jarred it a little making it work, still doesnt mean its still good. Just a thought.
