This is the only "complete replacement" mount for the 2.2, all the other guys just sell "inserts"

if you want the insert for the top 10$ plus shipping and its yours. i took mine out because of the vibes, my daily driver cant shake that much. the lower mount doesnt vibe to bad, so i left that in. i have stock lower mounts if you want those, just pay shipping. one is BRAND New (100 or less miles) and the other is almost new, (30K miles)

if you don't wanna pay that much buy the insert i doubt you will notice a difference in the TTR mount or the protane insert

i had the insert on my 97 GT with the lower mount an it didn't movethe insert is WAY CHEAPER.

lower mount i think there all the same now the mark pain doesn't make them but buy any of them really and the upper i would go for the insert personally

I have the upper insert and the lower dogbone on my 97 2.2 LN2 and I love it. not as much ratling as people claim I've noticed, but also, I don't think the sunfire dash moves around as much as the cav dash does.

The Sunfires won't vibrate as much as the cavs. Pontiac is considered a little bit more luxurious than chevy so the Fires got better quality materials and sound deadening. Its in the History FAQ. I 'm in the process of putting my car back together from my clutch, header, upper insert, and lower mount install. I suggest alot of liquid wrench or WD40 and a rubber mallet for both. I had the insert installed in the mount in less than 5 minutes. Just lube it up and tap it in. There is a write-up here.

Don't let the punks get to you. If they can't say anything helpful its because they probably

fact. They figure the more crap they say the less likley anyone will know how dumb they are.

My Sunfire would shake the walls with the upper and lower prothane mounts. It sounded like a bass amp.On a auto trans. The vibes were not all that bad with just the lower dog bone. Then I tried just the TTR auto trans mount my side mirror and rear view mirror will vibrate sometimes but I can deal with that. Different mounts are better then the stock mounts, IMO.

Probably because with the auto the engine is still under load at a stop so it was still pushing against the mounts.
