Anybody know where I can get instructions to replace the front wheel hub assembly?

The site which use to have a photographic step by step is no longer up. Its straight forwards when you start removing everything as if you were doing a brake job. 3 torqs bolts hold wheel bearing/ hub assembly to the steering knuckle. The CV shaft nut is 30mm deep well. Re-torq to 185 ftlbs. If you want to do it right and put a seal in back, then drop the ball joint and sway bar connections if you have one. Or remove the strut bolts. Either way will work.
That is really all the pertainate information you really need.
Why the hell would you drop the ball joint or undo the strut to do the wheel bearings>> its not needed any which way you do it
agreed. you will need to take off the axle bolt and the three bolts holding the hub in....then getting it out can be a pain thats where lube and a hammer helps

BTW: This is my Sig.
I find it quicker and easier to disconnect a ball joint or strut and get the axle completely out of the way when removing the bearing.......but it is not necessary.
And if the axle slides from the bearing easily, I will leave it in there. If I have to get the air hammer out to get it to move, I will usually pull it out.

accually that seal doesn't have to be back there on a J body that hub is also the same hub used on 98 and older grand ams
the seal is not needed on the j bodys. both the inner and out race of the bearing is sealed. as for doin it properly according to GM Service Information they don't even mention putting the seal in and as a matter of fact they all they say is remove 3 torx and axel nut remove bearing, and re install
so before you fly off the handle at members get your facts straight, oh and if you wanna do it right after you remove the spindle you went and got an alignment right techincally once you remove the spindle the alignment must be checked
