i have a 2002 cavalier with 2.2 non ecotec and im planing on swaping for the 2.2 ecotec... my question is, will i lose my AC or will mine work with it?
as long as you get the lines coming off the ac compressor to the fire wall and to the condenser it should work fine. you will also have to recharge the system.
you need the compressor for the ecotec. the ohv compressor will not work. all the lines should bolt up just the same though.
the lines that bolt to the compressor are different to. not the evaperator or condensor.
yeah just teh lines.
Mine may be up for sale soon, i'm thinkin about removing the system due the compressor croaking.
the only thing i changed when i did my eco swap was the compresor and the lines attached to it..........
