For awhile now I have been feeling a clunk in the front end of my car. Tonight I was fabbing up my exhaust and decided finally to check things out. Found the upper 2 subframe bolts loose..... There the ones that bolt to the frame kinda in the wheel well... So basically it was only held on by 4 bolts... the lower ones. Thats scary. I have gone to the track alot with it like that too. Maybe thats why my times were a little slower. Everything wasnt held in place tightly.

I have red on all my suspension bolts. A quick zap from the impact takes them off easily. Red loc-tite is on a lot of the Ford trucks from the factory too...learned that the hard way doing a brake job without air tools LOL
I used to race cars, now I race myself.

I think the hardest bolts I have ever had to take off at work were on brand new impalas. The bolts for the brake pad bracket is lock tighted on. My half inch IR Titanium has to hammer on them for a while. There on there with red.

Mine never had a lick of trouble on any GM car up to Aug 07 (when I left the dealer). The IR2135Ti is an awesome impact if you keep it cleaned and lubed.
