I would like to know if a 3100 cam and timing chain cover would fit 3500. Thanks

think they put more referance teeth on a 3500 cam i know they did the crank

The reference teeth are on the 3500 crank, not the cam.

As far as wether or not they will interchange, I have no idea. That question is probably better asked over on 60degreev6.com

wouldn't there bee some on the cam for the cam postion sensor or do they not have one

I'm pretty sure they have the same cam as the 3400. There is so much higher resolution with the crank sensor on the 3500 (52x compared to 7x), the cam sensor might not even be necessary or used.

But like i said, 60degreev6 are the pro's in this area.
