lol what they mean is that. there is not a set price. some say 1000 minimum. honestly all depends what and how you do it. as in. getting a parts car or piece by piece.
i was think about going to buy it piece by piece. and by the way i like how your car is coming alone mrthompson and ur funny cavmania.
thanks.
there is so much stuff i want to do to the 4door. i can just say that i have no clue where to start.
piece by piece will cost more, but you can end up having everything you want with out buying stuff twice. also you will probably spend more money this way and find your self making numerous trips to your local yard for stuff you missed. <-- know from experience.
I was around the 1000+ mark with two eco motors and most of the parts needed. Now I have all of that stuff for sale

But I was the smart ass who decided after I had everything for pre-00 auto to eco auto swap I wanted to go to a 5 speed instead. So I drove to Jersey and did a little part swapping with Bubba...

About $1300 total. Believe it or not, this was my donor.
$800 cash:
03 Ecotec w/ 5 speed Getrag trans
00 Cav dash & wiring harness
00 Sunfire body wiring, cluster, radio, Monsoon speakers & amp.
01 Fuel tank
Into my 98 Cav Z24
Did all the work myself, took me about a month as I did it in my spare time (which is, safe to say, not very plentiful...) and I have a second car.
i think i paid like 1300ish to brandon pauli for everything for the eco swap. (00+) but it came with some other fun stuff too
saab turbo and lightweight flywheel and such... doesnt matter the cost, getting rid of the 2.4 that came in your car,.... PRICELESS!
i know guys who can find them cheap like i paid 700 for my donor car for the 3800 swap
it depends on How many the wrecker has and what the demand is for them weckers that only have 2 likely will charge more as they don't have many but the ones that have a crap load of them will want them gone
