Anyone got any tips lining up the torque converter holes for the bolts to the fly wheel holes? Right now I am planning to remove the tranny again tonight any try and line it up as best as possible then put it back up and hope that the torque converter hole is perfect to the starter hole then I could start a bolt. But right now the torque converter does not have a bolt accesable, and there is no way i can spin it. So anyone got any tips? I think the only way to put the bolts in is through the starter hole correct? Aswell, is there enough room to bolt the converter on first then slide the input shaft in? Pretty sure there isn't but just wanted to double check.
Thanks for the help.

you should be able to spin the converter with the trans in
Dont pull the engine!
I know exactly what happened. Loosen all of the bellhousing bolts halfway, seperate the engine and tranny a little, reach in the starter hole area, turn the converter with your finger to line up one bolt hole ,You may have to put a jack under the tranny so the trans and engine stay in line and dont bind up the converter. After you get it lined up tighten up the bell housing bolts . Install all of the torque converter bolts half to 3/4 way then when you get all four in then tighten one at a time.
What has happened is there are raised area's on the flywheel that you just so happened to mate the converter to when you tightened the bell housing down, creating a situation that doesnt allow you to turn the converter to line the bolts up. Been there a couple of times , then I learned to make sure the converter spins by its self before I tighten any bell housing bolts.
