So my 95Z has a totaled title and is rusting and i have a 98Z shell with no engine or trans but has the wiring harness. I'm going to swap the 95 2.3 into the 98 but I am wondering if i need to rewire the whole car or just the engine or if I can use the 2.4 harness? Also is there going to be any other problems going from ODBII to ODBI? Any help or advice would be helpful. And getting a 2.4 isn't an option due to i just wanna use the parts i have and stuff. you will have to transfer the whole car to OBD1.

The 95' automatic has all of the same sensors as the 96-98 LD9, except the EGR. I don't remember what year the ICM changed, but I'm pretty sure that's the same as well. Just use your 98's wiring harness and it is practically plug-and-play. You'll most likely have to deal with the idiot light due to no EGR, unless someone with HPT can disable it for you.
