puttin a 99 2.4 to a 97z24 have motor trans ill connectors trying find out if anything is diffrent on ly thing i can find on here is the knock sensor

injectors i believe are different and the 99 probably doesn't have an EGR on it so you will have to swap yours onto it

Use everything from the 97. Injectors, EGR, intake manifold, exhaust manifold. Also the knock sensor is different. You will need to drill out the hole and tap it for the 97 knock sensor.

soo i cant use thee 99 injectors intake manifold i know exhuast because of the egr

what qould need to do to delete the egr would it even be worth it and injectors for a later boost setup would 99 ones be better

basicly need a 99 PCM or have GM flash your PCM with a 99 Vin

soo should i put all 97 parts on 99 motor

i would since you have them

its all easy to do its bolt on except the knock sensor but its best to do it while the motors out

think the one has it on the front and the others on the back no idea if thats true or not. i really didn't look at my 2.4 i bought hte car with a blown 2.4 and it was parcially pulled when i got it so i finished it off
