Does any one know if 2200 manifold fit on a 96. 2.2L head?

I dont think the 2200 had egr passageways(plastic intake). Not sure how they blocked off them since I think the same head was used. If you did switch it over then you wouldnt have any where to run an egr and end up with an engine light. I dont really dont know any one that has done it.

is the exhaust side the same? or is it all different?
exhaust ports are different shape/different spots/but the flange is the same. essentially, yes, it will bolt up, but part of the ports will be blocked.

do you have an actual header for the 2.2? I can't seem to find one for some reason, sell me yours right meow!!!!!
usually the tubes on headers are large enough to not block the head ports. there is not a HUGE difference in them, but they are different.
As far as heads and intakes, they are both different animals, they kinda look the same, but there are significant differences. The intake mani's are not interchangable, nor are the heads.
