I think I already know the answer to this, but I just want to confirm. Were there ever any 4 door Cavs that came with the 2.4L LD9 in it? Specifically any '00+ Cavs?
IIRC, there was a Canadian version, but that was it.

Actually, I just answered my own question. They were made in the first part of 2002. I also read that there were possibly some LS Sports that were made witht he 2.4L. Is that true?

no ls sports but some of the older regular LS came with a 2.4 they usually had 15 aluminum rims similar to the 2nd gen z24.

Yes they where made in 2002 actual labeled Z24 4 door in usa. Mine was one. I switched to the eco.
The only year to have the 4 doors Z24 is 2002. You could get either Eco or LD9 and manual or auto. I've seen them in red, black, silver and dark blue. I don't know if they made them in white but it would have been nice.
Mine has an LD9, 4spd, built in mexico, silver and had no front lip (solved that with the RK sport lip).
The older ones were not Z24's.

also in Japan, The Toyota Cavalier. i believe all the models there has the 2.4l, 2dr and 4dr.
i had a 2001 Ls 2.4 ,4 door, 15 inch star hubcaps. Not a Z, just painted bumpers and roll up windows.. Made in lordstown.

2002 is the only year, I believe, that an U.S. z24 could be a four door.

they look very nice with the ls/ z24 lip kit. They are also pretty rare here in canada. Ive seen two iwth the 2.4 ld9 and one silver one with the ecotec 2.2l, with the 2000-2002 body style. every one Ive seen has a Quebec dealership sticker on them, and supposedly these were all made in the us. Wish i could find one for sale.

From What i know of this specific model it was only made in the begining of 02 and the Z24 badge was never acompained by a ecotec under the hood in the US. They are somewhat hard to find exspecialy in manual becuase it was a sedan. And from the factory they did not come with sun roofs. And all the 02 Z24 sedans came with the lip kit from the factory.
