Stock wheel HP

Does anybody know what the Stock wheel HP is for a 97 2.4L GT. I found 150hp, but i just wanted to verify.

Here are some other questions I've been thinking of and searching for.

1. What are some of the better/best ways to increase the WHP?

2. Are the chips off of eBay for like 30 smackers worth the money?

3. I want to get Flowmasters for my car, I've been told go with the 40, 50, or 60 series. What do you recommend.

4. What's the difference between the ECM and the ECU?????

The hp specs online are crank hp not whp. So your whp is lower than 150, plus if the engine is old and tired the whp will be even lower. Best way to know exactly how much whp you have is to toss the car on a dyno.

Your around 130 whp give or take a little. If you have to ask about how to make more power then start with bolt ons. Get an intake, header, cat-back, high flow cat, ported throttle body, and motor mounts etc. to start with. Those are simple things that you could do yourself and don't cost a whole lot of money. Ebay chips are crap. HPtuners is the best way to go unless you want to spend the money for a megasquirt or FAST system. Sound is a personal preference so that is all on you. Last question...Nothing.

dynod my car about 2 years ago with just an eBay intake with a cheapo filter and a catback (it was for a class at Lincoln Tech) made around 130 whp with a tad over 100k on the clock, so i would figure around that unless your motor's really beat.

1. intake, full exhaust, motor+trans mounts, supercharger, turbo etc... basically as everyone else is saying, MONEY
2. NOPE fake resistor mod, just dumps fuel.
3. personal preference, do a youtube or streetfire search and try and find something you like. or just experiment.
4. Engine Control Module/ Engine Control Unit. same thing.
