Just wondering how you 3400's wired in the temp gauge cars running and sounds awsome all it wants to do if you give to much throttle in 1st is spin though lol

I just left the v6 temp sensor unplugged and plugged in my 2.2 coolant wires.. WA LA.. a working temp gauge in my dash... not sure if the v6 ecu not seeing temp affects anything however. Speedo is hooked up like this to, but i have it wired to both ECU's.

do you have both PCM hooked up??? if not then your gonna be into all autometer guages or switch you cars interior wiring over to 00+ then changine you engine harness to an impala and running factory gauges other then that 95-99 gauges wont work

I have the stock temp gauge running.

Since I have 2 ECU's, I need both to see the coolant temp. Since I didn't want to drill and tap a spot for a second sensor, I just went with the GM 3-wire CTS.

That's how mines set up with the 3 wire. That way the MS and the stock ECU (temp gauge only) can both read the engine temp using the same sensor. If I try to hook it up with a 2 wire sensor, then the stock ECU reads right and the gauge points at 195, but the MS only registers 90 for the coolant temp, which leaves it in warmup mode and makes it run rough.

I still aint got the tach thing going though. I haven't played with it much, but eventually i'll figure out how to get that damn gauge running on that V6.

somethigns not wired right if those are the only guages you got since, thats a symptom of only the 3400 pCM being there might wanna check your wiring on it or switch to 00+ gauges and impala PCM
