I have read a bunch of different stuff about this but I'll say a base model 95 with the 2.2 weighed about 2500 right? After I gutted the interior, only have 2 seats a shell of my dash how much do you think I lightened it? I know after I gutted it my car will stop on a dime, and picks up a lot faster too.

weigh the stuff that you took out, and enjoy the math, or you could just weigh the car..

Im pretty sure the base model Cav. Considering 2.2, 5spd and no options (like me... no tilt steering or anything) = 2617lbs.
