Thinking of swapping the 2.2 out of my 95 cavvy for a 3100 engine. Does anyone have the engine harness with pcm ready to go and for sale? I know its a direct bolt in, but concerned bout the harness.
not %100 bolt in, lower dog bone needs some tinkering, but instead of making custom mount and using the stock dog bone i used the stock v6 dog bone mount and made a custom dog bone that went at a angle.

Ok then what harness and ecm did use? Does the stock guages work?

Do some reading around here, then begin asking questions, you will get your answer's MUCH quicker that way, believe me.

Ok that helps, but the wiring in there is mind boggling and not really specific as to what to use. I need a surefire bet...a complete harness someone selling or a shopping list with what I need. I want to retain the factory dash, guages, etc. If those wont function after the swap, then its pointless.
I figured with obd 1 electronics in the 95, that a 94 3.1 grand am pcm and harness could easily be spliced in so everything functions. But without a surefire answer, no point in hacking the original harness.
Thats why I asked for clues or maybe a ready made harness from a old project car someone is junking.
you have to piggy back ecms to retain stock gauges, and the wiring is not as hard as you think.

Care to explain how to piggy back the ecms?
you leave the stock 2.2 computer where it is at and tap into some sensors on the 3x00.. its simple.
