Got a question, my 04 Ls sedan with 126k miles on it was suddenly down a 1/2 a quart of oil when i took it in for an oil change. Is that any cause for concern, i ask because until now my oil level has always been full. The tech insisted i didn't have a leak anywhere, i just wondered if it was normal for the ecos to burn or consume a lot of oil once they hit 100k plus. It sounded suspicious to me, but maybe it's just an eco thing.

Sounds like you need to just post the car on craigslist and get rid of it ASAP.

Nah, was just a question never had it use any oil between changes before so it just sounded kinda odd to me. I know the older 2.2's the ohv ones, i think i remember seeing on here had problems with oil consumption. Grant you half a quart isn't a whole lot no just a surprise to me is all.
