Hey quick question here, a friend of mine just picked up a 95 gt sunfire and it has a 2.4 in it and not the 2.3 quad 4, for some reason I thought that 2.4's started in 96? but anyways he is looking for a ecm and 95 ecms are not in the yards around here so he was wondering if a 96+ 2.4 ecm would work?
Then it's definitely a late make 95 or it's a 96. I'm thinking 96 going by the built date.
I will try to get the vin maybe that will really tell the truth

ya we checked that out it turns out it was a 96 2.4 , the new ecm worked out and hes up and running now.
With that built date, it really didn't have much choice but to be a '96.
